If You Can’t Beat’em...” represents a humorous social
statement centered around self reliance. This particular
person has decided not to become bitter over the success
of Asian Entrepreneurs in his neighborhood, and has
chosen to take a counter approach by starting his own
business; using some of the same menu items used by the
Asian restaurants, but with a soul food twist, thus utilizing
the familiar phrase "if you can’t beat’em, join’em".

The original oil painting is 36" x 24".
